NO BLUES is the fifth studio album by Los Campesinos!.
The record features a lot of reclaimed vintage instruments, sampled, cut up and repurposed. We wanted the artwork to convey some sense of the natural world clashing with an unsettling, hyper real version of itself.
We camped out at a waterfall in the Pennines for 2 days, in defiance of the weather and common sense, as we attempted to corral pink smoke into organic-looking clouds. It was a relief to look back on the photos and see that effect was exactly what we wanted to create.
