Kae Tempest - Unholy Elixir

This is my second video for Kate Tempest. The song and the video are inspired by Carl Jung's theory of the conflict between the Spirit of the Depths and the Spirit of the Present. The red in the video represents the Spirit of the Present, and all nods to nature represent the Spirit of the Depths. The video takes us through the forgotten, ancient traditions of our past, to the current state of the world, culminating in total destruction. The ending, however, carries a small speck of hope to represent the eternity of the Depths.

The majority of the animation is hand drawn 2D, with a few 3D cel-shaded elements.
