The Hubbards - Seven or Eleven

The Hubbards' couple their musical brand of Slacker-Pop with a tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating attitude when it comes to visuals.

I wanted to capture their sense of humour in this video and compliment Seven or Eleven’s light-hearted reflection on consumerism. So we took them away from their usual lo-fi style, and into a studio for a spoof "high fashion" visual.

After laughing about my friend's Instagram-famous dog @murphtheitaliangreyhound a few weeks before writing the treatment for this video, I thought it would be funny to feature him as a social media influencer - with the lead singer copying his outfits throughout.
