Graphic Design and Illustration
Hello! I’m Hannah, a Colombian-Pakistani illustrator, graphic designer, and writer born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, specialized in crafting conceptual artwork.
I graduated from The New School in New York City with a BFA in Illustration (Parsons) and a BA in Culture & Media Studies (Eugene Lang) in 2020, and in July of 2021, I completed a Master’s in Editorial Design at Elisava in Barcelona, where I am currently based. Having lived in various countries with a mix of cultural backgrounds, I am well-versed in the ways in which design influences and is influenced by the social environment and I am constantly in pursuit of learning and being aware of the impact of my work.
As a multidisciplinary artist myself, I am always interested in working on projects that translate the essence of other art forms into powerful and distinctive visual identities. Having had music as an integral part of my life since childhood, I am driven to work alongside musicians in crafting images that reflect the feel and sensibilities of their work.
I am truly passionate about the work that I do. This makes me a self-motivated designer with the initiative to work independently and efficiently, always with profound care and the dedication that each project requires. I also value collaborative creative processes, making sure to take into the visions of my clients and striving to produce work that interlaces their feedback and opinions with my own expertise and work flow. My goal is for everyone involved to be excited and feel represented by the visuals produced.
I am excited about the opportunity to work together and would welcome any opportunity to discuss my experience and ideas further.
