Ceremonies- Fear (Single)

I worked with Albuquerque based indie rock band Ceremonies to create a cover for their song 'Fear'. I researched their previous work, and collaborated with the band to find a new direction for their art. I wanted to make sure that it would reflect their music and build a strong visual brand.

The dark but beautiful lyrics of the band needed strong visuals to represent their style. I wanted to create something mystical and dark that fit the mood of the song and would immediately grab the attention of the listener. We iterated on the design over the course of a month came down to a washed out and gritty look for the image.

Unfortunately, the group disbanded at the end of 2019 and the single was never officially released.
