Squid_Stream Logo

Squid_Stream is an online twitch gaming channel. I was approached by the host to design the logo for the stream, and the banners for the channel and it's social media.

The initial brief was to create a logo that was welcoming, clean, and cartoon-y. I developed a few ideas for cute squid logos that had a range of color and style and could cover a few different design stances. We decided on a simple design with some movement and character, then modified the style to have a bid more detail. I kept color and detail to a minimum to nurture a clean, fun feel but added enough detail that the logo would have some three dimensionality.

For the banner I used an ink blob to build character and visual interest while keeping color and detail of the background simple. This helped establish a clear central focus for a beautiful, engaging banner.
