Stop Suffering Start Understanding Book Cover

Stop Suffering Start Understanding is a self help/psychological book written in relation to our emotional states and how to manage them with a deeper awareness and understanding of self. The client wanted to create a striking cover that captures growth from struggle to enlightenment or quite simply from dark to light. I translated this through the use of shades and tones of orange with the initial profile portrait, that then transcends with lighter layers of the same face arcing further towards the sun and sky. The motion of colour is further complimented by the eyes altering from closed to open in a surreal manner.
