Death. Growing inevitably closer with each breathe. What will be left behind after our own death?

The classic skull.I couldn’t help but incorporate a skull as my subject matter for one of my cover art concepts. This symmetrical composition creates an emblem like arrangement that draws the eye to the skull via contrast and central positioning.
I incorporated a dotted circle graphic element onto the forehead to bring contrast to the three-dimensional form. (I also rendered the golden chrome teeth and dark purple liquid dripping from the eyes.)
