Transonic

With advances in mobile technology we are in a constant state of flux between digital spaces and surrounding environments. Through an ever increasing network of digitised media, global noise collides with locally heard sounds in an unsettling, disorientation of space. Here, recorded sound is reduced to digital code in the form of raw data before being fed into the global network machine and distributed amongst its listeners. Far removed from the original sound source, interpretation is unique to each, individual listener amongst a myriad of localised sound and a lifetime of associative experience.
