Andrew Blair- Ozzy (Album Artwork)

I was invited by Hip Hop artist Andrew Blair to contribute to a collaborative art book releasing with his first album titled 'Ozzy'. The concept album was a sci- fi narrative about an existentially torn drug dealer helping his clients forget their woes but also feeding a vicious cycle of addiction.

My art piece was paired with the song 'Obsession.' During the song, the main character (Ozzy) wrestles with his conscience amidst an interstellar acid trip, and crashes his ship in an almost suicidal moment of indecision.

The art piece was designed to capture an image of Ozzy, his habit, a sense of sci-fi, and a creeping darkness. While somewhat abstract, the piece also implies reflection through a mirror like projection and ethereal ghosts of OZZY build a dreamlike feeling.

After, the completion of my art piece the musician reached out to me asking to procure some of my glitch art. The trippy nature of the two pieces were not only eye catching but also lent themselves to the greater narrative of the album.
