Heini Susanne has a special interest in conveying emotion visually. Heini's style is character- and story-driven and chosen to fit each individual project.

Heini has directing experience from both the UK and overseas. She currently works at the commercial production company Cocoa.

I started my career by studying Film Directing (MA) and Photography in London and Seattle and have since worked in London, New York and Helsinki.

Previous to working in the film industry, I was a professional dancer. My background in dance contributes to my interest in conveying emotion through film and movement. Further, dance training helped me cultivate a strong discipline while remaining in touch with my creativity.

Human emotion and psyche has always fascinated me and led to Minor studies in Psychology. I aim to create work that rings true and leaves its viewer affected in some way.
