Christian Groen Animation Portfolio
I heard somewhere that while a photograph captures a moment, a sketch is a meditation on a moment. In my experience, animation takes that even further. Spending a few hours on one second of time, it's hard not to obsess over small actions or movements. I become engulfed in crafting each frame to form something larger. What a weird thing to do! Could it be a waste of time? At least some people find some value in it. Regardless, I can't seem to stop.
