SOFY 'SOCKS'

Roisino directs a colourful and charismatic video for indie pop alternative artist Sofy's new track 'SOCKS.' Exploring motifs found in ironically bad indie rom com movies, from a boombox declaration of love, to a romantic bike ride, the video is a tongue in cheek play on the cringe-ness of falling in love. 

Evoking the idea of a romantic montage, the video takes us on a constantly progressing journey of Sofy's evolution to falling in love. True to Roisino's style, there are clever stylised easter eggs embedded throughout the video alluding to the next releases on Sofy's debut mixtape. With a dynamic edit and camera tricks embedded throughout, the video showcases Roisino's ability to directly tailor a commercially viable narrative for an alternative Gen Z audience.
