"Plans" Album Cover

When commissioned to do Ritual Talk's debut LP's album cover I wanted to create a photo collage to resemble memory within the abstraction of one's mind. I thought using disposable film cameras to take a lot of content to work with could be a cool way to get the band involved in the project. It was really important to me that the band feels connected in some way to the cover of the work they are putting out. All four of us took a camera's roll of pictures on our own of Bushwick, our homes, our experiences, etc. We printed the photos and ripped a lot of them up to create odd abstract shapes then I took photos of the film pictures and digitally collaged them. It was a really great project.
