Fossil - Creative direction, Album Artwork, Poster and Merchandise designs

This project was a small creative direction package and rebrand for a British artist named Fossil, they needed a creative direction, logo, styling, album artwork, gig poster and several merchandise mockups. They requested a clean and classic look that had a bit of an adventurious side.

I chose to go with a 3D looking render/model of a crown but editted into a real looking environment. This gave the slightly travel based earthy look of the alley background but with a clear direction of clean aesthetic on top, coupled with this was a classic bold seriffed font style.

This crown logo also was the bases of their logo, and I chose to throw in a fun version of a cardboard printed crown mimicking the famous paper crowns of our beloved well known ast food restaurant. Again this was an example of cheap merchandise that was on brand for aesthetic, and humour. Emphasysing the band had talent but were self depricating.

All work was completed under one week, including meeting times and some design revisions. Strict deadlines are no problem.
