Video for Potter Payper

Hand drawn frame by frame animation for ‘White Ash’  off of Potter Payper’s highly acclaimed ‘Real Back In Style’ album. The animation was commissioned by Nicola Shepard and was inspired by the beetles ‘I’m Only Sleeping’ video. I tried to create a visual narrative that illustrated what he’s speaking about as he raps it, bringing together various moments accumulating in his release from prison and returning to his glory.
