As part of a collaboration with The Montreux Jazz Festival, I was tasked with designing a modern album cover that conveyed the powerful energy and captivating stage presence of Nina Simone. After watching her electrifying performances in the Montreux recordings, I decided to showcase her distinctive energy through vibrant illustrations inspired by her proud African heritage.
