Nile Rodgers & Chic Music Videos

The first music video we made as part of an ongoing collaboration with Nile Rodgers and Director Giorgio Testi was for ‘Sober’. Set in Abbey Road Studios, Nile operates a UI interface that harnesses the combined forces of music and science, enabling him to fuse various elements in order to create a song.We designed and brought to life the UI, as well as integrating an array of VFX throughout the rest of the video to tie the 2 worlds together and heighten the 'Studio 54' feel of the live action setting.The track is from Chic's album "It's About Time", the groups first album since 1992, and features Craig David and Stefflon Don.

In the second video, ‘Do You Wanna Party’, we took this concept further, allowing Nile to utilise the UI to toy with featured artist LunchMoney Lewis by dropping him into a range of increasingly surreal settings from outer space to inside a video game.

Our work on all films in this series included shoot supervision, design & direction of the UI, animation, compositing, VFX, online edit & grade.
