Directors Cut (Franca Sozzani's Fave Fashion film @ Film Awards)

‘DirectorsCut’ is a romantic, retrospective black and white silent film, Creatively Directed by celebrity portrait photographer Morgan White and Styled by Kim Howells.

I created a lighting and camera look for a fashion film for World renowned Milliner, Piers Atkinson.

We recreated a 1920's club look with a modern spin. The lenses were built especaily for the film and every effect is done in Camera, NOT in computer - As such, this super old school feel really comes alive!!

We love it, The Editor of Italian Vogue at the time, the Legend Franca Sozzani, called it her favourite of the year!

I also shot the lookbook for this season and within it, there's the club kids and fashion faces of east london back in the day. FKA Twiggs particulary stood out at the time.
