Mixcloud Brand Refresh
In-house Brand Refresh for music-streaming platform Mixcloud; updated typography, brand colours, photography, animation, social and marketing assets and on platform imagery and design style. The platform is what it is because of the passion of curators, creators, tastemakers and music obsessives, every part of Mixcloud is embedded deep in the culture of underground music. Reflecting this is a new look which nods to decades of underground, DIY and grassroots approaches to image making within music culture. From Punk Zines to Acid-House flyers, Mixcloud's new look reflects it's deep understanding of global music subcultures past & present. It's a visual celebration of Mixcloud's ethos of music discovery created by people, not by algorithms, mirroring that in the design by instilling the human touch; photography of our creators, tactility of hand-drawn and hand composed collage and a DIY, playful approach to image making.
