Leftfield - Alternative Light Source

To accompany the tour of Leftfield’s new album, Alternative Light Source, we were commissioned to create visuals for three of the new tracks. The show had an overall aesthetic of exploring light in different forms, through the use of reflections and shadows. One of the songs explored cymatics – the visual patterns created by sound waves in the natural world. To maximise efficiency, a toolkit of elements were created for each song that were edited and shaped into the finished visual as the live audio was finalised. Production by Tom Woodcraft.
