ARTPOP (10th Anniversary Edition)

I was asked to create a concept for the upcoming 10th anniversary for Lady Gaga's ARTPOP. The cover has been redesigned, going for an artwork inspired by Bernini's 'The Ecstasy of St. Theresa'. Gaga has always been very open expressing the emotions she experienced while making the songs of the album. The album as a whole feels like an adrenaline trip, taking you to a different place and time every time you listen. It feels like an 'ecstasy' in many ways. In my concept, Gaga herself is the angel.

For the tracklist, I went for a more simply design. All the song title seem like they're getting warped by the Koons ball, symbolizing Gaga's Applause lyrics ''One second I'm a Koons fan, suddenly the Koons is me''.

Merchadising options such as a sweatshirt, tour DVD, stickers, a remix album, and even a multicolor bath-bomb, were also added to the concept.
