Killdren - Can't Pay Won't Pay

It’s been a while since new music from us – but here’s a new song Can’t Pay Won’t Pay – produced in time to promote the next Don’t Pay energy bills strike date next week on Thurs 1 December. You can find more about the campaign at http://dontpay.uk – they are looking to have one million people pledge to withdraw payment of energy bills, or at least cancel their direct debit, to put the squeeze on the bandit energy companies who are putting the squeeze on us. These companies are choosing to put ordinary people’s livelihoods and wellbeing on the line to bolster the already ridiculous profits they have raked in recently. It’s wanton daylight robbery by the energy firms, plain and simple. At a basic level, energy is the difference between life and death and, as we say in the song, no one should have to choose between eating and heating. We know a lot of people have pre-payment meters and so on, so not everyone can get involved at the most direct level - but there’s still things you can do to aid the campaign.
