Artwork for Jay Psychs

The client had a NASA/Space-themed project. They wanted some creative artwork to accompany the Creative Direction. Inspired by NASA member's uniform photos we chose to edit the artist's head onto an astronauts body. We couldn't use official patches so we pivoted to using fake ones designed in Illustrator. The back cover had a lot more details and elements. The artist took a base photo during a shoot and we placed everything you see around him. Everything is on a separate layer; the outer space, the cabin, every glowing item, the artist, and the chair. Adding and removing details until the piece had great balance, shading, and lighting.
