Ibrahim Ferrer - Digital Campaign - World Circuit

This project was commissioned by World Circuit via Creative Commission and called for the creation of animated assets promoting the release of Buena Vista Social Club member Ibrahim Ferrer's 'Buenos Hermanos', re-mastered by legendary producer Ry Cooder.

Inspired by the parallax photo animation techniques developed by documentary filmmaker Ken Burns (The Vietnam War, The Roosevelts, The West), the lyric video features animated photographs of Ibrahim Ferrer in concert which were taken by Christien Jaspars, alongside lyrics in both the original Spanish and an accompanying English translation.

A series of digital ads were also commissioned as part of this campaign. These were created in Standard, Square and Vertical video sizes and featured English, French and German copy for international promotion.
