Graphic design for Gramercy Arms by Marvellous

I have been working with Reveal Records since 2011 after being recommended to them by Boo Hewerdine. In 2014, I was commissioned by them to work on a campaign for New York-based Gramercy Arms for the release of their album The Seasons of Love.

Photographs of NYC, by Efrain John Gonzalez, were supplied with a brief to create a campaign that was eye-catching.

I took inspiration from album artwork from the Sixties and Seventies, and added texture and wear to make it look like the artwork originated from that time. With the album artwork complete, the design was taken onto a single release, promo CD artwork, postcards, advertising and social media.
