Shot completely on Super8, in one take and with in-camera editing, Achilles aims to explore the psychological pattern known as 'Achilles Syndrome'.

Branching from the Imposter Syndrome, and Homers Achilles from The Iliad, psychiatrist Petruska Clarksons coins and explains the Achilles Syndrome is associated with those with a fear of failure, robbing individuals from any joy from their jobs or interests. It is developed when ones confidence does not match their competence, leaving them with a void they are unable to fill.
