Album Design for Dirty Shirt

Artwork & Packaging for Dirty Shirt's Folkcore Detour Album, inspired mainly by Romanian traditional elements. The album features a symphonic ensemble of 25 artists, called The Transylvanian Folklore Ensemble, and has a complex instrumental sound that successfully blends metal with traditional music.

When designing this, I kept in mind that the artwork should match the quaintness of the rural areas from which these old time traditions and music influences come from, but at the same time, inject it with the energy of it all. Romanian traditional customs are strongly focused on woodwork and textile patterns which go hand in hand (pardon the pun) with the old time traditional dance customs.
