Dex Machina

Philipp Michel, who hails from the US has recently started a new alias named Dex Machina. After the work I did for Julian Gray, he hit me up in regards to working on a project with him to help him craft his new identity. Philipp wanted a clean logo and wordmark he could use seamlessly with his brand but still stand out in places like festival posters or online. One thing he also stressed was the link to robotics and A.I. in the symbol, as that's currently where his field of work lies full time. Tying these all together we came up with a marvelouslly simple and effective design, taking inspiration from the ridgidness of robotics and the shape of an ADSR envelope you can find in most VST plugins.
