Gig Buddies

My client the charity Stay Up Late came up with an idea 10 years ago to start a campaign to allow people with learning disabilities or autism to enjoy the gigs offered in their local community. Stay Up Late grew out of the mixed ability punk band Heavy Load (See the documentary by Jerry Rothwell for more on this formidable band) and campaigns for the right of everyone to have access to an active social life.

As part of the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of Gig Buddies, Stay Up Late asked me to refresh the website I created for them (this is now the third iteration over the 10 years that this project has grown). I have designed and developed a bespoke WordPress theme that allows the team to tell the story of the project and the successes they have had over the decade of Gig Buddies.

It is always a pleasure to work with Stay Up Late on their projects.
