GUIDE

‘GUIDE’ is a conceptual brand name made using Indian filmmaker Vijay Anand’s 1965 film ‘Guide’. In this clothing piece the staple symbols of American culture were appropriated and branded with Vijay’s film. I did this in the spirit of the Bollywood ‘Curry Western’, the piece was exhibited in the Chelsea Cookhouse Gallery.
