Clapback Zine is a platform for African women and their allies to reclaim their narratives and tell their stories. This project is a series of visuals and graphic language illustrating the theme for the 2nd issue: Legacy. The design draws upon images of badass African actresses, writers and musicians born in the 20s - 40s and couples them with assertive statements and the issue name as a way of the current generation (us) giving a nod to our predecessors.
