The World According To Billy

The World According To Billy is a Children's book written by Joanna Hansler. It follows an autistic child, Billy. And shows how he sees and hears the world. 

My role was to create the interior illustrations and front cover. 

I was in charge of designing the overall composition for the full-page illustrations. Often coming up with a few sketches and taking Jo's feedback before drawing the final illustration. 

The title of the book hadn't been decided when the project began, so I helped in coming up with a name, and created typography that felt suitable and fun for a children's book.
