Giggling Squid Brand Evolution and Illustration

Work created at SAINT Studio. One of the most popular Thai restaurants in the UK with nearly 40 sites and growing, Giggling Squid is a real success story of expansion done authentically and organically. In 2019, they asked their current design studio Saint Design to add life and rejuvanate a brand that needed more character. I hand drew every illustration, inspired by vintage victorian illustrations done by Ernst Haeckel, whilst also adding humour with the discoverable snippets of laughter references. We also redesigned the menu covers and content, applying the new brand assets and colours across all collateral, from social posts, to A boards and Takeaway bags.
