Current Events Collage Illustrations

These Collage illustrations are handmade designs using images I have colleceted from the New York Times. Meditations on current events, these images are commentary on the state of American Politcs as well as my own state of mind. By using the news as my primary source, I infuse the materiality of the subject with the meaning of the pieces, and ground my craft in a timely specificity.
