Norwegian producer Anton's dark soundscape is channeled into a dark, surrealist chess match that unfolds through contemporary dance and abstract Pagan imagery. Exploring the way we perceive our desires and sexuality, this post-apocalyptic community encourages putting oneself on display through competition and performance, becoming one with the darkness and fighting for your place in society.
Shot on 16mm, the raw and distorted visuals combine with a frenetic strobe light to disorientate the viewer, switching from vignette to vignette at a breathless pace, giving us just a glimpse into the ritualistic customs of this environment.
