Bending Hectic
Paul Thomas Anderson collaborates with Radiohead’s side-project The Smile, filmed at The Mildmay Club and on location in London, England. Taken from the forthcoming album, ‘Wall Of Eyes’ expected January 2024.
PTA previously worked with Thom Yorke on the 2016 music video for Radiohead’s ‘Daydreaming’.

Time & Memory
The Hayward Gallery on London’s Southbank has opened one of the largest ever retrospective exhibitions on acclaimed Japanese photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto. The photographer is best known for stretching and rearranging concepts of time, space, and light, all of which are integral to the medium of photography.
The Time Machine will present a comprehensive look at Sugimoto’s 50 year career, including showcasing lesser known works that demonstrate his interest in mathematics and optical sciences.
Liquid-based Computing
Filmmaker Federico Barni captures ‘Surface Tension’ for Swedish composer and producer aircode, and released via Gin & Platonic. The dystopian world was created by production designer Elena Isolini, and lensed by Mark Gee.
The film explores an experimental science-fiction enviroment in which rising water saturates post-millennium office workers and the hardware of an imaginary liquid machine.

Humane Inc have unveiled the Humane AI Pin, a future alternative to owning a smartphone. The pin clips to your chest, and you can talk or gesture, to summon a powerful virtual assistant.
The pin enables you to take photos, send texts, and uses a laser to project a visual interface onto a person’s palm, hooked up to an AI virtual assistant ready to search the web and communicate.

Jonathan Alric (one half of The Blaze) has directed a heartfelt Christmas-themed film for Telekom, beautifully lensed by Paul Özgür. The film explores the question “How are you?” which is asked many times, but rarely answered honestly.
