Vibrance & Decay
Directing-duo King She collaborates with Cuban-American singer, Cassie Marin, for the first time on the music video ‘Tanto’.
Cassie lives with an autoimmune disorder that impairs her body's ability to eliminate toxins, particularly metals like zinc, copper, and iron. Captivated by Cassie's story, the director’s pitched the idea of a narrative that articulates the journey of a girl who purges heavy metals from her skin.
The film involves an impressive display of creative techniques including thermography, point cloud photogrammetry, key frame scaling, AI generation, and CGI.
Over the Wall
'The Zone of Interest' is the new film by writer and director Jonathan Glazer (Under The Skin, Sexy Beast) and starring Sandra Hüller, Christian Friedel, and Ralph Herforth. The film is scored by returning collaborator Mica Levi.
The film is about the commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, who strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp.
The film won the Grand Prix at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
