Philip Guston at Tate Modern
Philip Guston is one of the most captivating painters of the 20th century, drawing inspiration from the nightmarish world around him to craft new and astonishing imagery. This new exhibition marks the first major retrospective of the artist in the UK in nearly 20 years. It delves into how his paintings bridged the personal and the political, the abstract and the figurative, and the humorous and the tragic.
On display at Tate Modern, London, from October 5th 2023 until February 25th 2024.
