London based self-shooter needed by Australian artist to capture footage for music video

[COMMISSIONER] is looking for a videographer to shoot some footage in London for [ARTIST].

The artist is based in London over the next 6 weeks so we're limited to this timeframe.

Looking to shoot a bank of candid footage in and around the city, which will feature in a music video. No editing required. No audio needed.

Just require high-quality footage on hardrive to be passed on to the animator and creative director.

Animations will be overlayed over the footage - see reference video.

1-2 days of shooting in and around London. Goods vibes, a couple of laughs and beers also supplied.

Will require inspiration for 10-12 locations which will fit into a simple candid storyline line (a night out + morning after day in the life) will discuss in more depth.

Submissions that have access to costume/styling a must.

Think: Pastel Colours, Fisheye shots, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

We Direct Music Videos

In line with We Direct Music Videos' guidelines, CC does not allow free pitching and applicants are not expected to submit any treatments at the pre-commission stage of the briefing process.

WDMV

This fairer process is designed to ensure that commissioners receive a sufficient amount of creative options to select from, while reducing the time directors spend pitching.

Therefore we limit the number of shortlisted directors invited to complete a treatment to a maximum of five.

Once you have applied to this brief, you will be notified after the application deadline whether you have been shortlisted to progress to the next phase.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a treatment, which typically consists of a written outline of the video concept and how it will be executed plus images and reference videos, submitted as a PDF.
