Looking for a US based film director with experience working on short films in the horror genre, is this you?

This is a really exciting open call-out for a US-based director/producer to collaborate on a short narrative film.

The film is a drama/horror-esque type film about the topic of coming back to work. The references are Get Out/Nope - Jordan Peele-style or Severance (The Apple+ TV Show).

The client on this project has a story in place, but this needs scripting.

The film would need to be shot in the US, preferably in the south.

For this project, looking for 8-10 directors to put together a paid pitch, the final film budget is $100,000 for the chosen director, and the aim would be to show the film at Cannes Lions next June.

Looking to see examples of your work in film, especially in the horror genre - also keen to know your experience with pulling elements together, managing budgets and commanding a set. Please note that this brief is only open to directors who are based in the US, applications and reels from outside of the US will not be considered.
