UK-based Video director wanted to bring to life this artist's idea for an upcoming track

[company name here] is hoping to connect with a video director who would be able to create a storytelling music video for this artist's track [song title].

Rough concept: 

This track is a tongue-in-cheek tale of love and longing that subverts the expectation that men should take the lead on becoming a couple/getting married. 

Important considerations

  • Think social first when ideating! the video will not just be delivered in vertical and landscape but should ignite and inspire audience engagement on all platforms. 

Things to remember

  • Set budget of £14k is all-inclusive of crew, production, location, catering etc  (exclusive of artist glam & styling)
  • 1 day of filming on Feb 16th.
  • Absolute final delivery by midday Feb 28th.
  • Creative Direction led by artist Creative Director. Director to work collaboratively with Creative Director. 
  • Initial treatments to be submitted by EOP Friday Feb 2nd midday.

This fairer process is designed to ensure that commissioners receive a sufficient amount of creative options to select from, while reducing the time directors spend pitching.

Therefore we limit the number of shortlisted directors invited to complete a treatment to a maximum of five.

Once you have applied to this brief, you will be notified after the application deadline whether you have been shortlisted to progress to the next phase.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a treatment, which typically consists of a written outline of the video concept and how it will be executed plus images and reference videos, submitted as a PDF.
