Music management company [COMMISSIONER] is looking for an animator to create a music video for producer duo [ARTIST] forthcoming new single [TRACK].
[TRACK] will lead into the electronic duo’s debut EP set to be released February 2022.
Looking for graphic/illustrated video to accompany and illuminate the song
Non-performance video. [ARTIST] will not appear
[TRACK]
[TRACK] is all about a driving, energetic mood and feeling as opposed to a linear narrative. It's [ARTIST] version of a straight-up, four-to-the-floor club track that weaves in our far-reaching influences. The track rolls and pulses with a thread of continuous energy reminiscent of heartbeats, flashing lights and moving bodies. In our heads, it's very heavily tied to movement and rhythm. The track balances bumping kick drums and driving percussion with heady ambience and placid, blissful synth textures - the contrast between the two give the track its unique energy. It has a lightness of spirit, optimism, brightness that came about in the joyous collaboration surrounding its inception and this should be reflected in the video.
Ideas
- Water/fluidity and movement, flowing
- Abstract landscapes/shapes/lights
- The track moves from heady and driving to calm and peaceful light
- Close and intimate to expansive
- Focus on natural elements/textures
- Video to feel like it is taking you on some kind of journey - an A to B with a resolve
- Nothing to be too obvious as to what it is - open to interpretation
