Deliver
Music video for UK dance producer on international electronic label for new single

[COMMISSIONER] are looking for a bespoke music video to accompany the latest single from UK producer [ARTIST] and [ARTIST].

The single is titled [TRACK] and is the lead track from his forthcoming EP.

Audio will be shared once we connect.

IDEA
Create a bespoke music video for [TRACK].
Ideally, the music video should feature and centre on the vocalist [ARTIST] - this can be either via filmed footage or portrayed as an animated character within the video.
We are open to treatments that do not feature [ARTIST] but will prioritise those that include her.
We are open to live-action or animated treatments.
The brief is open to artistic interpretation but should draw on the sentiment of the track title, which refers to a lost relationship.

STYLE
We'd like the video to be emotive, cinematic and melancholic. This is broad and open to interpretation.

LOCATION
If treatment is live action-based, the artist is based in Switzerland and open to travel within current EU travel guidelines.

Location

This global brief is open to all applicants, regardless of location.

We Direct Music Videos

In line with We Direct Music Videos' guidelines, CC does not allow free pitching and applicants are not expected to submit any treatments at the pre-commission stage of the briefing process.

Our goal is to push for improvements in the music video process to be more respectful, transparent, and minimize free work on behalf of the thousands of music video directors our organization represents. Find out more
WDMV

This fairer process is designed to ensure that commissioners receive a sufficient amount of creative options to select from, while reducing the time directors spend pitching.

Therefore we limit the number of shortlisted directors invited to complete a treatment to a maximum of five.

Once you have applied to this brief, you will be notified after the application deadline whether you have been shortlisted to progress to the next phase.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a treatment, which typically consists of a written outline of the video concept and how it will be executed plus images and reference videos, submitted as a PDF.
