Creative platform Talenthouse is recruiting a 'Video Curator, Creative Insights'.

You are passionate about the way content works, in particular video, AR & virtual immersive experiences. Your personal passions cross over to your professional work. You are eager and aren’t afraid to bring a diverse & fresh perspective to your work. You are naturally interested in visual communication in all forms and love discussing the content that you come across. You are equal parts creative and analytical. You enjoy research and are comfortable sharing what you know with the world at large. You are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage the moving parts of multiple work streams operating simultaneously while still meeting deadlines. You are a creative problem-solver with the ability to quickly identify problems and work independently to find appropriate solutions. You have a pulse on what’s new and next in art and culture and are not afraid to share your insights and perspective.

Your next challenge:

  • Curate & source video content from our community of artists to support internal analysis, client requests and our marketing efforts.
  • Identify themes & upcoming trends for video installations & dynamic virtual experiences in the art world, with the ability to translate into current and future commercial content needs.
  • Understand clients' brand visual guidelines & briefs and turn into relevant & inspiring curated collections of creative content.
  • Recognise how shifts in the global landscape will impact content.
  • Work with our internal sales team on interpreting commercial content needs and identifying and anticipating directional shifts in customer interests.
  • Support the broader team in collating findings to be presented to internal and external audiences.
  • Work in collaboration with our marketing team by providing insights on visual trends impacting our client's businesses.
  • Assist in the creation of customer-facing presentations about harnessing visual trends to fuel powerful brand storytelling.
  • Support management in the ideation and execution of our visual trends report.
  • Prepare presentations to disseminate visual trends to contributors in-person or virtually.

Requirements

  • Basic visual literacy with a broad understanding of video & film as a medium
  • Knowledge & experience of AR, VR, 3D would be an asset
  • Technical experience with video files, specifications & formatting is also a bonus!
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to different audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize and interpret large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple distinct projects at the same time.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a passion for creative excellence.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-moving, dynamic creative environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Asana, Notion, Slack would be useful, but not essential.
